here's something noticable.
I'm at work at the moment, (pretty bored), and I noticed that we have plastic bags, that actually warn you not to pull the platic over you head, because that could lead to suffocation. Or at least, that's what the german version says, the dutch and english versions just say that you should keep it away from childeren. and the other two languages I didn't understand. It's interesting to see how free translations can be on these kinds of products. but anyway; here's my complaint;
has the world gone this stupid, that we have to explain adult people (you know it is adressed to adults as they also say that you should keep it away from childeren) not to put a plastic bag over their head or else they might suffocate? - can we not use our damn brains to figure out the consequences of our actions?
Obviously, the widdo coming up with this plastic bag must've regarded german people as considerably less intelligent people, as they where the only one who got this particular warning. But to be fair, I also think that keeping plastic bags away from little children is something you have to come up with on your own, as a parent.
But, as the commercial world has decided to do everything for us (You don't even have to think anymore! just spend a little money and all the reasoning will be done for you!) Why stop at a single warning not to pull the bag over your head? What about:

Warning! Do not put the plastic into you mouth; you won't be able to breath properly!

or

Warning! Don't swallow the plastic! Your stomach can't digest plastic!

or

Warning! Don't use the plastic as a necklace, if you tie it to tight you might also suffocate!

or

Warning! Don't try to get rid of the plastic by burning it! Breating the air of burning plastic will increase your change on longcancer (if I'm correct)

or

Warning! Don't use the bag to carry along bombs that are already on! This could lead to explosions!


well.. I'm sure we can all think of plenty of stupid things you can to get yourself killed, that involve a plastic bag.
